CORDAID (Catholic Organisation for Relief and Development Aid) Got involved with SSD in 2002 since then to 2010. It has funded a series of programs like; INCODEP I, II, III and also Emergency Projects like CMDRR 2007.

 

Caritas Uganda

CARITAS Uganda Gives support in capacity building of staff (trainings) support farm imlements and emergencies like the Floods

 

Dan Church Aid

DCA (Dan Church Aid) Lobying for financial support started in 2006 and funding was in 2008 funding activities under Empowerment and Support to the Vulnerable groups in Moroto Diocese. Activities piloted in 2 Parishes; Tapac and Kangole.

 

FIT Uganda

Fit Uganda Lobying began in 2005 and in 2006 the first project was funded since then Fit Uganda has been supportin the activity of Access To Markets (ATM) to the Farmer Groups particularly with Ground nuts production. The target areas were Nakapiripirit and Iriir Parishes.

 

MADEFO

MADEFO (Matheniko Development Forum) Part of the three consortium formed in 2007 for CMDRR approach in Karamoja.

 

KADP

KADP (Karamoja Agro-pasoral Development Program) Part of the three consortium formed in 2007 for CMDRR approach in Karamoja

 

CDRN

CDRN (Community Development and Research Network) First involvement was in 2006 with training on Advocacy funded by Cordaid. And in March 2008 Capacity building for all SSD staff funded by CAFOD.

 

CAFOD

CAFOD (Catholic ACtion for Overseas Development) Started around 1st March 2008 funding the project components of Peace and Livelihoods activities, Action for Governance which started October 2008. Also funding Food Crisis Projects.

 

IIRR

IIRR Specialises in capacity building. Its regional head office is in Nairobi Kenya and also have a Uganda office in Kampala. Its first involvement was in June 2006 when it facilitated the training of program representatives from three partner organisation (Madefo, Kadp & SSD) in Ethiopia on the CMDRR concept funded by CORDAID.

 

ISP

ISP (Insieme Si Puo - Together we can) an Italian organisation based in Kampala started in 2006, 2007, and in 2008 seeds for planting. Funded support to Vulnerable groups in 11 Parishes of Moroto in form of food items. Majorly on Emergency short projects.
